Whisky Find is an up-and-coming Taiwanese bottler founded in 2014.
This product is a private bottle specially selected and bottled from Whisky Find's barrels to commemorate the 36th anniversary of BAR YAMAZAKI, a famous whiskey bar in Saga City.
This whisky is bottled from a Speyside distillery (the distillery is not open to the public) that was distilled in 2010 and aged for 14 years in first-fill sherry casks (hogsheads). The label features a paper cutout by the owner, Mr. Yamazaki.

(Tasting comments)
The top notes are a slight burnt aroma and a hint of citrus. Rich aromas of fig, apricot, bitter chocolate, and brown sugar syrup. Moderate tannins and spiciness follow. The sweetness that lingers in the aftertaste is lovely. Aged for 14 years, the barrel specifications suggest a sense of maturity that exceeds this, with a good balance of color and flavor typical of a first-fill brewery. The finish is not long, but the sweetness lingers nicely.

This long-established authentic bar in Saga City opened in 1988 and moved to its current location in 1999 as a detached bar. It is a small bar with eight seats, and the back shelves are lined with over 1,000 bottles, mainly single malt Scotch whiskey.
