Akitora Brewery Opening Limited Edition Junmai Daiginjo Omachi Unfiltered Raw Sake
Akitora Brewery Opening Limited Edition Junmai Daiginjo Omachi Unfiltered Raw Sake
高知県/有光酒造場
This Junmai Daiginjo is made with 100% Omachi rice and yeast from Kochi Prefecture. Previously, it was only available for limited release at the brewery opening after the brewery had finished brewing. It has a fruity aroma reminiscent of melon and the robust flavor of Omachi, typical of unfiltered raw sake.
This was a sake that was only available at the brewery opening, but due to COVID-19 the brewery was unable to open to the public, so this secret sake is now available to the public.

Producer/Brewery ( Kochi Prefecture / Arimitsu Brewery (Akitora) )
This brewery was founded in 1903 (Meiji 36) in Aki City, Kochi Prefecture. The brewery is even older, having been built in the Edo period and continues to be used today while undergoing repairs and improvements. The first owner, Arimitsu Itaro, is said to have had a close friendship with Mitsubishi founder Iwasaki Yataro, who was from Aki in Tosa.
Our small brewery strives to create "gentle sake to accompany meals" and "flavorful sake" that can be enjoyed during special moments. We cherish tradition, but at times we question it as well.
