Japanese Gin / Kusunoka Distillery STILLDAM GIN Citrus Jabara
Japanese Gin / Kusunoka Distillery STILLDAM GIN Citrus Jabara
楠乃花蒸溜所(株式会社スティルダム・サガ)
Kusunohana Distillery is located in Saga City, Saga Prefecture, and was recently granted a spirits production license in 2020. They imported a still from the Netherlands, the birthplace of gin, and offer craft gin using ingredients from Saga.
Unlike dry gins that use raw alcohol industrially produced in a continuous still as their base spirit, this "Still Damn Gin" uses only authentic pure rice shochu, which is made from pure rice ginjo sake, which is made by making sake koji, making sake mash, and squeezing it, and then further purified in a pot still, allowing the unique characteristics of the base spirit to emerge strongly along with the botanical flavor.
The "Stilldam Girl" series is a limited-edition premium series of Stilldam Gin that was newly launched in December 2022, and this product is the ninth in the series. The base spirit is pure rice shochu, obtained by pot distillation of pure rice ginjo sake, and the key botanical is the peel of the fragrant citrus fruit "Jabara" grown at Tomita Farm in Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture. It is infused with a total of 15 botanicals, distilled using a Dutch still, and diluted with natural water from the Karatsu Seven Mountains.
