Authentic Rum is a series that was revived at the end of 2021. This product is a single cask rum distilled in 1999 at the Fernandes Distillery in Trinidad and aged for 25 years.
For many years, Trinidad rum was dominated by Caroni, a closed distillery with a cult following among rum lovers worldwide. Fernandes Distillery, with its limited releases, was a hidden gem known only to a select few, but in recent years it has begun to attract attention not only from rum lovers but also from whiskey enthusiasts. The 1999 vintage, in particular, is a particularly noteworthy vintage, characterized by elements such as brown sugar and fruit simmered in syrup.
