RHUM FROM REUNION Red Wine Cask SINOB (Rum from Reunion Red Wine Cask Private Bottle) 7 Years Old 2016 [Official Import]

The latest release from the private bottle series "SINOB" by Ebisawa, president of the Rum Society and owner of the Kichijoji rum specialty bar "Screwdriver," has been released from a barrel owned by the leading emerging bottler "Whiskey Find." It is non-colored and non-chill filtered.
The label was designed by Shu Yamamoto, a visual artist active overseas who combines cats and art, such as by depicting the works of famous artists such as Van Gogh and Vermeer as cats.

Aroma: A gorgeous tropical fruit aroma. In addition to pineapple, mango, and passion fruit, the refreshing aroma of shikuwasa and kiwi spreads. You can also feel the toasty aroma of nuts and white pepper, the acidity of high-cocoa chocolate, the greenness of shell ginger, and the delicate woody nuances of cypress.
Taste: In contrast to the aroma, the taste is calm, changing from a smooth sweetness like tortoiseshell candy to the earthy, roasted sweet potato flavor. Sharp acidity and strong tannins tighten the overall flavor.
Finish: The astringency of roasted green tea and almond skin emerges in the latter half, leaving a spicy aftertaste of ginger. The contrast between the aroma and flavor is striking, with tannins and a bitter taste at the heart of this bottle. A unique and lingering wine for connoisseurs.
