Savannah Distillery is located on the French overseas territory of Reunion Island, northeast of Madagascar in the western Indian Ocean. It began producing rum in the 1870s and launched Savannah Rum in 2002.
This traditional rum is aged in multiple old cognac barrels, resulting in a powerful yet exquisite aroma. Crafted in a column still, it's perfect on the rocks and is perfect for those new to rum.
(Tasting Notes) A ​​pleasant fruity aroma develops into tropical fruits such as mango, pineapple, and passion fruit, as well as almonds and marzipan. The taste is well-rounded, with a subtle hint of aniseed and gentle spices such as saffron and curry providing the backbone.
