This product is part of the Oishi Premium Series, a rice shochu aged in oloroso sherry casks for a long period of time. It offers notes of vanilla, a hint of ginger, the sweetness of sherry, wood smoke, and spice.
In order to allow you to enjoy the flavor straight from the cask, we add dietary fiber and bottle it as a liqueur, exceeding the coloring standards for "authentic shochu."
Only 277 bottles will be released nationwide.

Producer/Brewery ( Kumamoto Prefecture (Kuma) / Oishi Brewery )

Founded in 1872, this shochu brewery is located in Minakami Village, Kuma District, Kumamoto Prefecture, at the upper reaches of the Kuma River, at the southeastern tip of Kumamoto Prefecture, on the border with Miyazaki Prefecture. Using the pure water of the Kuma River and locally grown rice, the brewery strives to produce high-quality Kuma shochu.
