This shochu is hand-brewed using Miyazaki Beni, an edible variety, with the themes of "delicacy," "harmony," and "lingering aftertaste." It is Kodama Brewery's flagship brand, and was first brewed under the leadership of current master brewer Junpei Kanamaru. It is characterized by the light aroma and sweetness unique to purple sweet potatoes.

Producer/Brewery ( Miyazaki Prefecture / Kodama Brewery (Toji Junpei) )

Located in Nichinan City in the southern part of Miyazaki Prefecture, this historic brewery, originally called Fujiya and founded in the Edo period, was taken over by the current head brewer in 2001, marking its second founding. This shochu brewery prides itself on careful, handmade craftsmanship.
