Producer/Brewery ( Tottori Prefecture/Suwa Sake Brewery )
This brewery is located in Chizu Town, Yazu District, Tottori Prefecture, and was founded in 1859. Its flagship brand is "Suwaizumi," named after Suwa Shrine, located behind the brewery.
It is said that sake, which was enjoyed warm by aristocrats in the Heian period, spread to the common people in the mid-Edo period, and that it has been drunk warm for at least 300 years. We focus on the fact that warming sake is a way to fully enjoy the umami that is the deliciousness of sake, and we make sake that brings out the flavor by "pure rice, aged, and warmed."
In 2018, Awa Yamada Nishiki Vintage 2015 won the top prize in the hot sake category at the Hiroshima Bureau Sake Tasting Competition.
