Domestic Whisky / Akkeshi Single Blended Winter Solstice

Akkeshi Distillery was established in 2016 along the coast of Akkeshi Town, located further east than Kushiro in the eastern region of Hokkaido, and aims to produce whisky similar to Islay malt, taking advantage of its location.
This "Winter Solstice" is the first single blend in the Akkeshi Distillery's "24 Solar Terms Series/18th Edition." It is a blend of whiskeys, both malt and grain, all produced at the Akkeshi Distillery.
The grain spirit is a single pot still grain distilled in a pot still, made from 100% ingredients produced in Hokkaido, and has a richer, full-bodied flavor than regular grain spirits.
<Tasting notes>
Aroma: Persimmon jelly, sugared summer mandarins, orange citrus fruits, honey, melon, and a hint of lavender. Taste: Marmalade with a strong peel flavor, nougat. Aftertaste: Grated ginger, salted candy, and a slight peat flavor.
