This product from Benromach Distillery (owned by the long-established independent bottler Gordon & MacPhail) is a product of the Benromach "Contrast" series, a heavily peated malt aged in first-fill bourbon barrels.
The vanilla flavor from the barrel is accompanied by notes of lemon and apricot, followed by a smoky peat flavor.
