Ballechen, a heavily peated whisky brand from Edradour Distillery in the Highlands, was created in 2002 when Ian Henderson moved from Laphroaig to Edradour Distillery, and is named after the distillery that existed there.
This is a blended malt whisky from Edradour Distillery, made from one sherry cask aged in 2009 and three Ballechen bourbon cask aged in the same year. It is non-chill filtered and non-colored.
This cuvée is a special blend of peated and non-peated malts.
