A new series called "Secret Warehouse" has been launched for the single malt Shizuoka "Pot Still K," a whiskey aged in an unnamed aging warehouse. Located north and south of the Shizuoka Distillery, the whiskey is aged for over five years in two warehouses, each with a completely different climate and environment outside of Shizuoka Prefecture, before returning to the Shizuoka Distillery and bottling in each warehouse.
This "Minami 5-Year" is aged in a warm, southern warehouse far from Shizuoka. Pot Still K's raw liquor is bottled in barrels and aged in this warm, sunny climate. The climate here is even warmer than Shizuoka, and Angel's Share is also a major factor. After 5 years in this environment, K's raw liquor has the flavor of fresh apples and honey.
