The "Old Particular" series is a carefully selected, high-quality product released by major bottler Douglas Laing. Glencadam Distillery is a relatively small, long-established distillery founded in 1825.
This product is a single cask distilled in 2004 and aged for 16 years in refill casks. No chilling or colouring.
<Tasting notes>
Aroma: Rich and luscious. Sweet cereal, vanilla, autumn fruits, and a hint of spice. Taste: Peppery spice flavors, followed by fudge, pear, and barley. Finish: Pronounced malt flavors with hints of brown sugar, autumn fruits, and very soft oak.
