Highland Whisky / OLD PARTICULAR INVERGORDON SINGLE GRAIN (Old Particular Invergordon Single Cask) 2002 (Aged 19 Years) [Official Import]

ダグラス・レイン

The "Old Particular" series is a carefully selected, high-quality series released by major bottler Douglas Laing. Founded in 1960, Invergordon Distillery is the only grain distillery in the Highlands and is the source of Whyte & Mackay's whiskey.
This single grain whiskey, "Invergordon Black Label," is labeled "vintage" due to its exceptional quality, rather than the usual age rating. It was distilled in 2002, aged for approximately 19 years in refill casks (butts), and bottled in 2021. It is non-chilled and non-colored.
<Tasting notes>
Aroma: Sweet and creamy with lots of vanilla and perfect spicy oak. Taste: Buttered toast, crisp green apple, and a hint of strawberry with milky cereal. Finish: A long, sweet finish with hints of creme brulee, cotton candy, Madeira cake, and toffee.
