Speyside Whisky / Premier Barrel Tamdhu Single Cask 12 Year Old (Official Import)

The Premier Barrel series, by major bottler Douglas Laing, is inspired by the "good old days" of Victorian times and features a restored ceramic decanter used around 1851. This product bottles 12-year-old single cask whiskey from Tamdhu Distillery, founded in 1896 and used to produce key malts such as Famous Grouse and J&B. It is non-chilled and non-colored.
<Tasting notes>
Aroma: Barley grist and caramel sauce with a soft honey aroma. Taste: Very smooth, with notes of sweet sugar, autumn fruits, and crispy cookies. Finish: The sweet buttery flavor gradually gives way to the initial aromas (grist, caramel, honey) that emerge.
