Hunter Laing was founded in 2013 by Stewart Laing, former co-president of leading bottler Douglas Laing, along with his two sons. The high-quality bottles, carefully selected from the company's vast stock, are highly regarded around the world.
This product, "Scarabas," is named after a remote place on Islay. While the distillery and age of the blended malts are not disclosed, it is made from malts that are at least 10 years old, and is a single malt whisky that allows you to enjoy the complex aroma and sweet peat and smoky notes that come from aging.

The exceptionally rich, earthy aroma of peat smoke, leather and menthol is gently enveloped in a thick, dripping golden syrup, leading to a mellow, inviting, long finish.
