This whisky is made from malt from Bunnahabhain Distillery on Islay, distilled in 2012, and aged for 10 years in first-fill sherry casks. It is non-coloured.
Bunnahabhain Distillery is a distillery that is basically non-peated, with a subdued smokiness, and a subtle iodine aroma and peaty flavor that makes it accessible to everyone, making it a good introduction to Islay. Despite being an Islay malt, Bunnahabhain's greatest feature is its gentle mouthfeel and ease of drinking.
