The Cask Strength Collection is bottled directly from the casks in which it was aged, without adding water. This product is a whisky made from malt from Bunnahabhain Distillery on Islay, distilled in 2012, and aged for nine years in first-fill sherry casks.
Bunnahabhain Distillery is an Islay distillery that is basically non-peated, with a subdued smokiness, a distinctive iodine aroma, and a subdued peaty flavor, making it an accessible distillery for anyone new to Islay. Despite being an Islay malt, Bunnahabhain's greatest feature is its gentle mouthfeel and ease of drinking.
