Bunnahabhain Distillery on Islay primarily uses non-peated malt, making it the lightest Islay malt, but Stoicia uses heavily peated malt, giving it a distinct Islay malt flavor. This single malt whisky was distilled in 2013 and aged for 11 years in first-fill Oloroso sherry butts.
