Signatory Vintage was founded in 1988 and is a leading single cask bottling company.
The "CASK STRENGTH COLLECTION" is bottled directly from the casks in which it was aged without adding water.
This single malt whisky is made from malt from Speyside's Caperdonich distillery, distilled in 2000, and aged for 21 years in hogsheads. It is non-colored.
Caperdonich Distillery was established in 1898 as Glen Grant's second distillery, but closed in 1902. It was later reopened as "Caperdonich Distillery" in 1977, and became the property of Pernod Ricard in 2001. It closed again in 2002, and the distillery was demolished. This is a valuable product, as the distillery no longer exists.
