This product is part of the "Cask Strength Collection," a single malt whisky bottled directly from the casks in which it was aged without adding water. It is made from malt from the Speyside/Glenlivet distillery, distilled in 2006, and aged for 14 years in first-fill sherry casks (butts). It is non-colored.
Glenlivet Distillery was the first distillery to obtain a distilling license in the Livet Valley in Speyside in 1824, and its sales volume has consistently been in competition with Glenfiddich, another Speyside malt. With its smooth, balanced, and fruity taste, it is a well-known distillery that is also known as an entry-level whisky for whisky lovers.
