Highland Whisky / STRATHEARN SINGLE MALT SCOTCH WHISKY BATCH 2 (Official Import)

This single malt whisky is made from raw spirits from Strathearn Distillery, one of Scotland's smallest distilleries, established in 2013 and owned by major bottler Douglas Laing.
Strathearn Distillery is a pioneer of Scotland's ongoing craft distillery boom, having broken through the regulations of the time and established in 2013. Located near the town of Perth on the border between the Highlands and Lowlands in the Highlands, the distillery's name means "wide valley of the River Erne" in Gaelic.
The distillery was acquired by Douglas Laing in 2019 and will release a 200ml new make in 2022. Japan will then finally release its first single malt, including raw spirits distilled by Douglas Laing, in the spring of 2024.
This product is "Batch 2," following on from the first release, and is aged in bourbon barrels, virgin oak barrels, and sherry casks. It is non-colored and non-chill filtered.
