タリスカー蒸留所
Talisker Distillery was founded in 1830. Located in a cove on the Isle of Skye, the largest island in the Inner Hebrides in northwest Scotland, it is constantly exposed to the sea breeze and is known worldwide for its whisky, which has a flavor that is reminiscent of the sea breeze. Until the construction of Torveig Distillery in 2017, it was the only distillery on the Isle of Skye.
This Talisker Wild Blue is further aged in first-fill South African wine casks, offering a stunning blend of Talisker's signature sea breeze aroma, smokiness, and deep fruit aromas. For every bottle purchased, £3 will be donated to the Blue Marine Foundation, supporting marine conservation efforts. The bottle is made from 100% recycled glass, and the packaging has been eco-friendly, eliminating gift boxes and reducing labeling. This limited edition product is imbued with the desire to protect the bounty of our oceans and pass them on to future generations.
(Tasting notes)
Color: Shiny gold like shining brass. Aroma: Pepper spice and the smokiness unique to Talisker are interspersed with aromas of dried seaweed and sea spray hitting the rocks, and a rich fruity aroma reminiscent of red wine and sun-dried cranberries surges through.
Body: Medium to full. Taste: The pleasant texture gives a sweet and rich taste, with fruity notes of berries and orchard fruit, salty notes, and smoky notes that blend beautifully on the tongue, followed by a punch of chili pepper. When water is added, the fruity sweetness of wine and the chili pepper flavor spread throughout the mouth.
Finish: Long, smooth, sweet and smoky, evoking memories of beach bonfires.
