Hunter Laing was founded in 2013 by Stewart Laing, former co-president of leading bottler Douglas Laing, along with his two sons. The high-quality bottles, carefully selected from the company's vast stock, are highly regarded around the world.
This product is part of the highly popular flagship brand, the Old Malt Cask (OMC) series, and is a single cask whisky made using malts from Inchgower Distillery (owned by Diageo), which was founded in 1871 in Speyside. The malts were distilled in 1995 and aged for 21 years in sherry casks (butts). Since much of the malts from Inchgower are used for blending, single malt releases are extremely rare and valuable. It is non-chilled and non-colored.
