Timorous Beastie Meet the Beast, a limited edition product from major bottler Douglas Laing, features a striking "field mouse" inspired by the work of Robert Burns. It is a blend of single malts from the Highlands, aged in bourbon barrels, and bottled at cask strength without added water.
What's more, it comes with an innovative illusion pack that brings this special bottling to life. When you look into the packaging using the included red film glasses, the field mouse disappears and only the Beast appears clearly, offering a hidden visual treat.
<Tasting notes>
Aroma: Sweet vanilla, spicy citrus fruits, and juicy barley. Taste: Freshly baked gingerbread, smooth honey, and gentle spices.
Finish: Long and lingering, with plenty of sweet meringue and caramel fudge.
