Founded in 1918, SAKURAO DISTILLERY was newly established in 2017 in Sakurao, Hatsukaichi City, Hiroshima Prefecture, across from the World Heritage Site, Miyajima.
This product is finished in casks that have been used to age whiskey with a smoky aroma, giving the whiskey a distinctive smoky flavor and aroma that brings a rich, sweet taste.
(Tasting notes) Color: Deep golden yellow / Aroma: Esterly, fruity / Taste: Coconut, ginger, Earl Grey tea / Finish: A distinctive charcoal-like flavor brings out the sweetness and acidity of bitter chocolate and orange.
