The third product in the Legacy Series, Knocknamorn, has been released by Torveig Distillery on the Isle of Skye, which began distillation in 2017.
Inspired by the Isle of Skye's spectacular, rugged coastline, it strikes a balance between power and elegance, using heavy peat to create an elegant, robust drama that highlights the whisky's floral and aromatic characteristics.
Cnoc Na Mòine is the distillery's first release to be casked in Sharry casks, and has been aged in bourbon, American oloroso oak and Pedro Ximénez casks, giving it a sweeter, richer flavour and darker colour.
Cnoc Na Mòine translates to "Peat Hill" and is geographically located in Knoydart, southeast of the Isle of Skye. Torabhaig Cnoc Na Mòine is the latest release on our journey to create a legacy, our journey to 10YO. Each release is truly limited, bottled only that year and never produced again.
