Kingsbury is a bottler based in Aberdeen, Scotland (a company that purchases aged whiskey in casks, blends it uniquely, and bottles it). Their "Cask Strength" series, commonly known as "Gold," is made from carefully selected casks with particularly distinctive characteristics and bottled directly from the cask, boasting the company's highest quality.
Although this product is labeled as a Highland single malt, it is made using peated malt distilled in 2000 at the popular distillery next to Longmorn and aged for 21 years in hogsheads. It is named after the nearby place.
Although it is a peated malt, it does not have a pungent impact. The peat smoke has been completely mellowed through aging, leaving a smooth body with a rich umami flavor that blends seamlessly with the fruit. Cask strength, no water added. Non-chill filtered, non-colored.

Aroma: Peat-smoked barley and oak aromas overflow with fruity notes. Taste: On the palate, flavors of smoke, apple, and peach mingle with vanilla. Finish: Toasted peat and nutty flavors dominate the finish.
