This Junmai Daiginjo sake is made with Fukushima Prefecture's Yume no Kaori rice, which is ideal for sake brewing. The name comes from Ryugasawa, a spring at the foot of Mount Bandai, which has been selected as one of Japan's 100 famous springs. This "Autumn-Agari" sake is pasteurized, stored, and aged. It has a refreshing aroma reminiscent of muscat and pear, and a mellow flavor that comes from the umami of the rice and aging.
