Producer/Brewery ( Akita Prefecture/Asamai Sake Brewery (Amanoto) )

Founded in 1917, this brewery is located in Yokote City, Akita Prefecture. Its flagship brand is "Amanoto," named after an old poem: "The door of heaven opens quietly on Mt. Kamiji, the sunlight casts a shadow on the green leaves of the cedars." Located in the center of the Yokote Basin, the brewery has long been blessed with an environment perfect for sake brewing, with abundant spring water and high-quality rice. With the motto "sake is born from the rice paddies," the brewery has been using only rice grown in the Yokote Basin since 2011, and continues to do so to this day.
