This is a limited edition sweet potato shochu made using high-quality Kogane Senkan rice and brewed with black koji.
The product name is taken from "Oishi Hyoroku Yume Monogatari," a story written by Mori Masanao, a leading comic writer from the Satsuma domain period, about the exploits of a young samurai named Heigo (2 years old) who sets out to defeat monsters.

Producer/Brewery ( Kagoshima Prefecture / Sagara Sake Brewery (Hyoroku) )

In 1730, the founder, Nakaemon Sagara, abandoned his samurai status and founded a sake brewery. The Pacific War forced the company to switch to producing Class B shochu. In 2015, Sagara Kurokoji brewing won the President's Award at the Kagoshima Prefecture Honkaku Shochu Appraisal.
