This Junmai Daiginjo is brewed by Aihara Sake Brewery, a renowned brewery in Hiroshima Prefecture, using Hakutsuru Nishiki, a rice variety suitable for sake brewing that was independently developed by Hakutsuru Sake Brewery over a period of 12 years and registered as a variety in 2007, with the aim of "producing sake rice that is as good as Yamada Nishiki."
It has a refreshing and elegant aroma like white grapes, a delicate balance of sweetness and acidity, and a beautiful, lingering aftertaste.

Producer/Brewery ( Hiroshima Prefecture / Aihara Sake Brewery (Amago no Tsuki) )

Founded in 1875, this brewery is located in Nigata, east of Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture. The name of their flagship brand, "Amago no Tsuki" (Moon After the Rain), expresses their desire to brew a clear, beautiful sake, like the title of a short story in the novelist Tokutomi Roka's essay "Nature and Life," in which he writes, "In the sky after the rain, the moon shines brightly, illuminating everything around."

It has received high praise, having won the gold medal at the National New Sake Tasting Competition for 12 consecutive years since 2008, and is also a regular recipient of awards at overseas tasting competitions such as KuraMaster and IWC.
