池原酒造は、銅鍋を使用した直火釜での蒸留にこだわる等により、特に個性が強い泡盛「白百合」を造っています。

この商品は、スコットランド／アイラ島_ラフロイグ蒸溜所で熟成に使用された樽を用い、白百合を静かに後熟させた泡盛の限定品です。スモーキーなラフロイグの熟成樽とそれに負けない泡盛「白百合」の酒質が融合し重層的で野性的な味わいです。
イヌイの持つ力強い個性にラフロイグ樽がもたらした深みと甘み。チャーミングなベリー感と厚みのある味わいが見事に調和しています。ロックや炭酸割りでゆっくり変化する表情が楽しめます。

おすすめの飲み方は、まずはストレートでひと口。次に氷を1つ加えて。甘みが美しく伸び、ラフロイグ樽での熟成の個性が際立ちます。膨らんだ甘みの中に微かなヨード香が感じられます。その後は炭酸割りへ。時間とともに味わいが変化し次第に馴染んでいく表情を楽しめます。

Founded in 1951, this small distillery produces awamori in an old house with a traditional red-tiled roof on Ishigaki Island. Its flagship brand is "Shirayuri." Aiming to create an enjoyable drink that combines "awamori and entertainment," they produce "Shirayuri," a very unique awamori in the awamori industry.

The distillery is unusual among today's Awamori distilleries in that it is committed to using only direct-fire kettle distillation, which is costly but produces a rich-tasting Awamori.The distillery also uses copper distilleries to produce high-quality Awamori, and has steadily refined the quality and individuality of the liquor, winning the highest gold award at a global competition in 2021.
