The barley used is polished to 50% and slowly fermented at low temperatures using ND-4 (Nadeshiko yeast), a yeast derived from dianthus flowers. You can enjoy the sweet aroma and lingering aftertaste derived from the flower yeast.

Producer/Brewery ( Oita Prefecture/Bungo Meishu (Moriyama) )

This brewery was founded in 1910 (Meiji 43) and is located in Saiki City, Oita Prefecture. Originally, it mainly produced sake, but with the huge boom in barley shochu in the 1970s, it began full-scale production of barley shochu. It has earned high praise, winning the Excellence Award in the shochu category at the Kumamoto Regional Taxation Bureau's Liquor Appraisal for over 10 years.
