"Karahashi" is a new brand that always strives for the highest quality, with careful brewing, bottle pasteurization, and refrigerated storage at -5°C until just before shipping.
This product is a special limited edition sake made from Junmai Ginjo brewed using 100% Yamadanishiki rice grown in Hyogo Prefecture, bottled as unfiltered raw sake.
It has a gorgeous aroma reminiscent of apples and tropical fruits. It has a fresh, well-balanced acidity and sweetness, and is characterized by the full-bodied, rich flavor that only Yamadanishiki can offer, and a refreshing, crisp aftertaste.

Producer/Brewery ( Fukushima Prefecture / Homare Brewery (Aizu Homare, Karahashi) )

Located in Kitakata City, Fukushima Prefecture, this sake brewery was founded in 1918 after taking over a sake brewery from its original business of rice wholesale and miso and koji manufacturing. Located in the Aizu region of Fukushima Prefecture, where sake brewing is thriving, the brewery makes the most of the local terroir in its sake brewing. Recently, the brewery launched a new brand, "Karashi." The brewery thoroughly pursues quality through careful brewing, bottle pasteurization, and refrigerated storage at -5°C until just before shipping.
