It is stored for a long period in a barrel cellar where the temperature and humidity are controlled 24 hours a day, similar to those in the Scottish Highlands, and is characterized by its overwhelming sweetness, pleasant acidity, flavor reminiscent of ripe fruit, and the distinctive, gorgeous, mature aroma of barley. It is an extremely aged sake that forms a pair with "Kodaiikko." It comes with a limited edition number.

Producer/Brewery ( Kumamoto Prefecture/Rokuchoshi Brewery )

Founded in 1923, this brewery is a leading producer of "Kuma Shochu," a type of shochu produced in the Kuma Hitoyoshi region of Kumamoto Prefecture using only rice, rice koji, and water from the Kuma Basin.

We have been focusing on aged spirits for some time, and have installed air conditioning in our insulated barrel storage room, thoroughly controlling the temperature at an appropriate level, and ageing the spirits in conditions similar to those found in the Scottish Highlands.
