This "New Kamigame "GAMERA -Rebirth-" Junmai Sake" is a sake with a "turtle" theme, released to commemorate the broadcast of "GAMERA -Rebirth-", which was released worldwide on Netflix last year, on NHK General TV from Saturday, April 5th. It is a Junmai sake made from a specially made blend of Awa Yamada Nishiki rice with a rice polishing ratio of 50% and 60%.
It is extremely well-balanced, with a soft aroma and smooth texture, a crisp finish, and a long, lingering finish, and can be enjoyed at a wide range of temperatures, from chilled to around 55 degrees.

Producer/Brewery ( Saitama Prefecture / Shinkame Brewery (Shinkame, Hikoma) )

This brewery was founded in 1848 and is located in Hasuda City, Saitama Prefecture. In 1987, while the local sake boom was still a local trend, they converted all of their brewing to junmai sake, and are famous for becoming the first brewery to produce only junmai sake since the war. This move further solidified the subsequent trend in the sake industry to emphasize quality.

Their flagship brand, "Kamigame," is named after the "messenger turtle of God" that is said to have lived in the "Tenjin Pond" behind the brewery. "Hikomagoto" means great-grandson, and is given to sake that has been aged for more than three years.
