芋焼酎の多くは、原料芋としてメジャーな「黄金千貫」ではなく、鹿児島県産の「皮も中も赤紫色の芋」を使用し、かめ壺で仕込んでいます。
赤い色をしたさつまいもで仕込んでいるため、蒸留前の醪（もろみ）はとても鮮やかな赤色になります（ただし蒸留後の焼酎は透明です）。こうしてできた赤芋焼酎を、蔵でじっくり、3年以上かけて長期熟成させた芋焼酎・古酒です。
落ち着きのある奥深い果実香と、まろやかでやさしい甘さを楽しめます。外観は、プレミアムな赤芋熟成酒にふさわしい真紅のボトル、ワイン風のクラシックモダンな雰囲気です。

Producer/Brewery ( Kagoshima Prefecture / Kirishimacho Distillery (Bright Farming Village, Farmer's Wife) )

Founded in 1911, the brewery is located in Kirishima City, Kagoshima Prefecture, at the foot of Kirishima, Japan's first national park, and is the smallest shochu brewery in Kagoshima Prefecture in terms of production volume. Representative brands include "Akarui Noson" and "Nouka no Yome."

Our brewery uses groundwater that springs from the earth filtered by the 1,000m-high Kirishima Mountains, and raw materials produced from 75 hectares (approximately 75 hectares) managed by the agricultural corporation "Akari Noson," which we founded ourselves.The distilled shochu is then aged in precious Japanese-made wagame (Japanese-style earthenware) that have been passed down since our founding.
