This red sweet potato shochu is made from reddish-purple sweet potatoes and the pure water of Kirishima, and is brewed in the traditional earthenware pots that have been used since the company was founded in 1911.
It has a fruity aroma, gentle sweetness, and a refreshing taste.

Producer/Brewery ( Kagoshima Prefecture / Kirishimacho Distillery (Bright Farming Village, Farmer's Wife) )

Founded in 1911, the brewery is located in Kirishima City, Kagoshima Prefecture, at the foot of Kirishima, Japan's first national park, and is the smallest shochu brewery in Kagoshima Prefecture in terms of production volume. Representative brands include "Akarui Noson" and "Nouka no Yome."

Our brewery uses groundwater that springs from the earth filtered by the 1,000m-high Kirishima Mountains, and raw materials produced from 75 hectares (approximately 75 hectares) managed by the agricultural corporation "Akari Noson," which we founded ourselves.The distilled shochu is then aged in precious Japanese-made wagame (Japanese-style earthenware) that have been passed down since our founding.
