Collection: Kagoshima Prefecture / Kirishimacho Distillery (Bright Farming Village, Farmer's Wife)

Founded in 1911, the brewery is located in Kirishima City, Kagoshima Prefecture, at the foot of Kirishima, Japan's first national park, and is the smallest shochu brewery in Kagoshima Prefecture in terms of production volume. Representative brands include "Akarui Noson" and "Nouka no Yome."

Our brewery uses groundwater that springs from the earth filtered by the 1,000m-high Kirishima Mountains, and raw materials produced from 75 hectares (approximately 75 hectares) managed by the agricultural corporation "Akari Noson," which we founded ourselves. The distilled shochu is then aged in precious Japanese-made wagame (Japanese-style earthenware) that have been passed down since our founding.
