鹿児島県産「黄金千貫」を「黄麹」を使い甕で仕込み、常圧で蒸留した芋焼酎です。
芋焼酎で一般的な黒麹や白麹と異なり、この「黄麹」は、主に日本酒で使われ、発酵過程でクエン酸を生成しない性質上、もろみが腐りやすく、温暖な鹿児島での芋焼酎造りでは扱いが難しい麹です。そのため、この「黄麹」バージョンは、冬期限定で発売されています。
黄麹ならではの、華やかで、軽やかな吟醸香とやさしい甘みがあり、芋焼酎を初めて飲まれる方にも飲みやすい味わいで、通常の「明るい農村（黒麹、白麹のブレンド）」とは異なる個性を持った香りが特徴的です。ロック、炭酸割りにもよく合います。

Producer/Brewery ( Kagoshima Prefecture / Kirishimacho Distillery (Bright Farming Village, Farmer's Wife) )

Founded in 1911, the brewery is located in Kirishima City, Kagoshima Prefecture, at the foot of Kirishima, Japan's first national park, and is the smallest shochu brewery in Kagoshima Prefecture in terms of production volume. Representative brands include "Akarui Noson" and "Nouka no Yome."

Our brewery uses groundwater that springs from the earth filtered by the 1,000m-high Kirishima Mountains, and raw materials produced from 75 hectares (approximately 75 hectares) managed by the agricultural corporation "Akari Noson," which we founded ourselves.The distilled shochu is then aged in precious Japanese-made wagame (Japanese-style earthenware) that have been passed down since our founding.
