「甕雫 KURO」は、「紅芋」を白麹で仕込んだ原酒を主体に「紫芋」を黒麹で仕込んだ原酒と、さらに「コガネマサリ」を白麹で仕込んだ原酒をブレンド。従来の甕雫よりも、より深い味わいと香りを追求した芋焼酎です。度数20度。甕を模した上質な黒色の容器に、他のシリーズと同様「柄杓」が付属します。

Producer/Brewery ( Miyazaki Prefecture / Kyoya Sake Brewery (Jidaigura/YUZU GIN) )

Founded in 1834, this shochu brewery is located in Nichinan City, Miyazaki Prefecture. Its flagship brand is "Jidaigura." The sweet potatoes and rice used as raw materials are grown organically without pesticides on the farms of its subsidiary, the agricultural production corporation Agri Company, Inc. The brewery uses pesticide-free "sweet potatoes" and "aigamo rice" grown for some of its products. The brewery also brews shochu in a traditional way, placing emphasis on its own ingredients, using relatively small 800L earthenware jars that have been handed down through the generations. Their GIN shochu has also been gaining attention in recent years.
