This is a new type of sweet potato shochu made from aged liquor and red wine barrels. Aged sweet potato shochu that has been aged for over three years to develop a mellow aroma and flavor is further aged in barrels that were used to store red wine in Europe, allowing you to enjoy not only the flavor of the aged liquor, but also the acidity and sweetness inherent in the red wine.
We recommend drinking it on the rocks, but it also tastes good with soda.

Producer/Brewery ( Kagoshima Prefecture/Takubo Sake Brewery )

Originally, the company delivered raw sweet potatoes to shochu manufacturers, but with the cooperation of its predecessor, Kubo Brewery (founded in 1910), the current Takubo Brewery was established in 1990, and continues to operate to this day. The company is committed to the traditional "earthenware jar brewing" method, and aims for quality rather than mass production.
