ブランド名「W」（ダブリュー）とは、渡辺酒造店（Watanabe）、世界（World）、笑い（Warai）という３つの意味を表し、「蓬莱」とは別に特約店限定で発売されるシリーズ。
この商品は、酒米の王様「山田錦」と原生種「雄町」を親に持ち「酒米のダイヤモンド」とも呼ばれる、希少で甘くジューシーな味わいを生み出す高級酒米「愛山」を全量使用し50%精米で醸した、純米大吟醸クラスの純米、無濾過原酒の火入れバージョンです。

苺のような甘やかで華やか香り、愛山ならではのジューシーでふくよかな甘みと酸味がバランスした味わいです。

Founded in 1870 (Meiji 3), this brewery is located in Hida City, Gifu Prefecture. Its flagship brand is "Horai." Utilizing the bounty of Hida's natural environment, the brewery works hard to brew sake based on chemistry, physics, and philosophy, in an environment filled with smiles, with Yoshimoto Kogyo comedy acts played in the brewing tanks.
