この商品は、「雄町」を35%精米し醸した純米大吟醸（火入れ）。透明感のある旨みと澄んだ輪郭、雄町ならではの奥行きある旨味にほどよい酸が重なり、口中を引き締めるような切れの良さをもたらします。商品コンセプトの通り、深みをたたえながらも、静かに研ぎ澄まされた味わい楽しめます。

商品名にある『布都（ふつ）』とは、稲妻の閃きが世界を断ち、その後に訪れる沈黙のこと。雷鳴に先立つ一瞬の静寂──それは断絶の余韻であり、神威の残響にほかならない。『麻（ま）』とは、古来より伝わる祓と清浄の象徴。一閃の緊張とその後に広がる静寂。すなわち『布都麻』とは断ち、祓、澄みわたる味わいを宿す酒である。（蔵元）

Founded in 1869, this brewery is located in Suzuka City, Mie Prefecture. They use smaller-than-usual tanks that allow them to pay careful attention to the brewing process, and they limit production to carefully control the delicate activity of the bacteria and fermentation. Under the leadership of Master Brewer Uchiyama, they are working hard towards their vision of making sake a common sight all over the world.
