This is Doi Brewery's flagship sake, named after the late Hase Masayoshi, who was known as the leader of the four great Noto brewers and served as Doi Brewery's master brewer for 40 years, starting in 1968. A small amount of brewer's alcohol is added to finish the sake, giving it a refreshing taste.

This brewery was founded in 1872 in Kakegawa City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Led by the master brewer Masayoshi Hase, who was hailed as one of the four great master brewers of Noto, the brewery has been highly praised for its early involvement in ginjo sake, with initiatives such as reviewing everything from the selection of sake rice to sake brewing equipment and production methods.
