The third in the genshu series, this undiluted sake is made with Tamaakana tea from Kagoshima Prefecture. It has a black tea aroma and a tropical aftertaste, making for a bold and vibrant sake. Its sweetness is followed by a slight bitterness, and it has a crisp, firm taste.

Producer/Brewery ( Miyazaki Prefecture/Shoro Sake Brewery )

Founded in 1928, Shochu Brewery is located in Kushima City, the southernmost tip of Miyazaki Prefecture. Based on the concept of "something you can drink anytime," they avoid expressing strong aromas and other distinctive characteristics in the quality of their sake, and instead place importance on creating a gentle, mellow flavor that you won't tire of. Furthermore, Shochu Brewery ages almost all of the brands they sell for over three years.

Recently, while maintaining traditional brewing methods, they have been experimenting with various ingredients, such as potato varieties and koji.
