Expressing the culture of authentic sweet potato shochu that was cultivated in southern Kyushu, this cloudy shochu is made from unfiltered, aged, and aged malt liquor using only the strong flavor of the first and middle distillates, allowing modern drinkers to rediscover the authentic taste of sweet potato shochu and the traditional drinking styles, such as mixing it with hot water.
The sake has a pronounced sweetness reminiscent of refined sugar, and is mellow yet crisp. It can be enjoyed at a variety of temperatures, but its true value is best when mixed with hot water.
It pairs well with seared winter fish sashimi and chicken-based dishes, so be sure to enjoy it as a winter limited edition sake.

Producer/Brewery ( Miyazaki Prefecture/Shoro Sake Brewery )

Founded in 1928, Shochu Brewery is located in Kushima City, the southernmost tip of Miyazaki Prefecture. Based on the concept of "something you can drink anytime," they avoid expressing strong aromas and other distinctive characteristics in the quality of their sake, and instead place importance on creating a gentle, mellow flavor that you won't tire of. Furthermore, Shochu Brewery ages almost all of the brands they sell for over three years.

Recently, while maintaining traditional brewing methods, they have been experimenting with various ingredients, such as potato varieties and koji.
