This is a long-term aged sake made by distilling barley shochu using atmospheric distillation, which brings out the strong flavor of the ingredients, and then aging it in an enamel tank for three years. The aging process allows the barley flavor and aroma to become more mellow, and the original aroma of barley shochu emerges, as if dancing, hence the name "Maika."
You can drink it straight, but we also recommend pairing it with something sweet after a meal.
